Inspired by the traditional 17th-century Japanese resist-dyeing technique, Yūzen (友禅染), mainly used to produce kimono. The Prints designed by me here incorporates elements from this exquisite craft. Reflecting its artistic heritage, the prints feature delicate linework and motifs like cherry blossoms, lotus, water lilies, swans, and birds. The use of accent gold enhances the design’s elegance, capturing the sophistication and natural beauty of Yūzen while blending it with contemporary aesthetics.
